There's a gazillion names of people who I recognize from the old LJ days but it seems like the majority haven't done journaling in yeeeears. Who still uses this format? I wonder whether it will pick up again as people bail on FB? Also, I'm a little confused-- I am seeing accounts that say they are LJ but here on DW? I know the platform is the same, but are they actually connected? I are confoosed.

I don't know about those LJ accounts, I don't see any like that. But, the more people you follow the more posts you'll see! I've been here all along, so feel free to browse my friends-list and see if you recognize anyone and if they're posting regularly (but yeah, a lot of folks have gone dormant unfortunately). It'd be great to have a community here again!

Oh, also - it could be that they're all friends-locked and they haven't given you access yet. Once you get access from various accounts you should start seeing more posts, too!

I know that when the first migration from LJ to DW happened a lot of people just mirrored their accounts.
